A possible post medieval extractive pit is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1945 to the north east of Blackers Hole. The possible quarry is located on limestone and measures approximately 15 m by 13 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
