A possible post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s on Anvil Point, Swanage, extending to the west from the enclosure around Anvil Point Lighthouse. The linear bank extends from west to east for a distance of 130 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
