Summary

Fragments of field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar to the south-west of Swalland Farm. The denuded lynchets lie in the vicinity of a possible medieval settlement (MWX650) and Iron Age/Ro find spots (MWX4843). They are therefore potentially of medieval or earlier origin.

Fragments of field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar to the south-west of Swalland Farm. The denuded lynchets lie in the vicinity of a possible medieval settlement (MWX650) and Iron Age/Ro find spots (MWX4843). They are therefore potentially of medieval or earlier origin.The site was digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
