A small complex of buildings associated with a roadway leading to a circular platform (10m across) are visible as structures on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (1). They are considered to be of Second World War military origin. The features were digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). The features are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery.
