Summary

A linear cluster of six small cirvilinear hollows (approximately 8-16 m across) are visible as earthworks on lidar to the north of Dancing Ledge. They are possibly post medieval extractive pits or bomb craters dating to the Second World War.

Full Description

A linear cluster of six small cirvilinear hollows (approximately 8-16 m across) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar to the north of Dancing Ledge. They are possibly post medieval extractive pits or bomb craters dating to the Second World War. (1-3) . The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
