A possible modern wreck site, which may date from the Second World War, is visible as a submerged structure on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Hunger Hill. (1) The wreck measures 5m in length and just over 2.5m in width. The site is not visible on modern maps or the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
