A curvilinear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the north of Fishers Place, Ringstead (1). It does not appear to respect the modern field pattern suggesting it could be of a late prehistoric or romano-british date. The site is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
