A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the south-east of Sea Barn Farmhouse (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. It is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
