Two sinuous banks with associated ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of Chaldon Down (1). They appear to respect the modern field pattern and are considered likely to be the remains of former medieval field boundaries. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
