Summary
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and Lidar imagery of Bindon Hill. It is considered possible this could be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. Alternatively it could be the site of a bomb crater associated with Second World War activity in this area.

A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1-2) and Lidar imagery (3) of Bindon Hill. It is considered possible this could be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. Alternatively it could be the site of a bomb crater associated with Second World War activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
