A hollow is visible as an earthwork on Lidar imagery of Bindon Hill (1). It is considered possible this could be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. A trackway leading to this site is probably contemporary with it. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
