Monument record MDO29421 - Second World War anti-tank cubes, Bindon Range, East Lulworth
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A group of Second World War anti-tank blocks are visible on aerial photographs, located at the mouth of a cove south of Bindon Range (MDO29420). They appear to have been moved from their original position, which is shown on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1946 to have been approximately 20m to the north-west (MWX1434). This was probably done to build a sea defence for the sewage outfall pipe here.
