Full Description

A group of parallel linear banks and ditches are visible on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2) of fields along the cliff edge at East Holme Range. They are considered likely to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow. They may be contemporary with or an addition to medieval strip lynchets located adjacent to the northern edge of these features (MDO8053). These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
