Two dark lines are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 at the northern end of The Cobb, Lyme Regis (1). They are possibly barbed wire entanglements or fences. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
