A series of ditches, possibly part of a post medieval or early 20th century drainage system, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to either site of Spittles Lane, Lyme Regis (1). The ditches lie in the vicinity of the allotments described in MDO26420 and may be contemporary with these features. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
