A small oval feature, 12m across, is visible as earthworks under snow on aerial photographs taken in 1963 (1). The feature is potentially the site of a post medieval quarry. The feature is still visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
