Second World War military slit trenching likely associated with the military camp recorded in the same area (MDO29524) is visible as a series of earthworks on aerial photographs taken at Hamworthy, Poole in 1945 (1). The features are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project.(2/3) The features were digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
