Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It is one of a small group of four barrows within a wider linear barrow cemetery. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 90 feet in diameter with a mound about 5 feet high, and an encircling ditch.

Full Description
Four barrows, including an oval barrow, in NW-SE line across S-facing slope of low ridge running N.N.E. below the Ridgeway. All have been heavily ploughed. 'A'. Ditched bowl (70708626). Diam. about 90 ft, height about 5ft. <3>
The four barrows are situated in arable fields as follows: 'A' - SY 70688627. Diameter 30.0m. Maximum height 1.5m. None of the four barrows shows any visible evidence of a ditch. 1:2500 Published surveys of 'A', 'C' and 'D' revised. 'B' surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
