Five small mounds (8-12m across) are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1942 at East Cliff. The features are of uncertain origin, possibly post medieval pillow mounds or military features dating to the Second World War.(1). The features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
