Summary
A line of Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 across Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock. It is one of several lines of beach defences including a coastal battery, possible barbed wire entanglements and a possible pillbox. The cubes were removed soon after the end of the war.

Full Description
A line of Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 across Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock. It is one of several lines of beach defences including a coastal battery (MWX1300 and MDO29649), possible barbed wire entanglements (MDO29646 and 7) and a possible pillbox (MDO29648). The cubes were removed soon after the end of the war. (1). The features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
