An area of small, closely spaced mounds, possibly Second World War anti-glider obstructions, are visible as earthworks and soilmarks on aerial photographs of the 1940s, to the north of DTEO Portland Bill. The mounds are visible over an area measuring approximately 275 m by 200 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
