A probable Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs dating from 1946 in mudflats at East Fleet (1). It measures approximately 23m in diameter. The crater is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. (2/3) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
