Early modern boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s within the Sports Area, East Weare Camp. Two boundaries cross the Sports Area from west to east and two other boundaries lie perpendicular to them. The function of the boundaries, formed of earthern banks, is unclear. They may relate to an earlier use of the Sports Area. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
