An area of at least 13 probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the north of the Naval Cemetery, Portland. The craters are sub-circular and measure up to 12 m in diameter. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
