A possible Second World War military building is visible as a structures on aerial photographs of the 1940s, adjacent to the Weymouth and Portland Railway and a Royal Navy fuel store (see MDO19665), Castletown. The buildings is of uncertain function, but may have been associated either with the fuel store or the railway. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
