Summary
A NE-SW orientated linear bank is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Lanehouse, Weymouth (1). It is located on the western side of the partial remains of a possible late prehistoric enclosure (MDO29821). This feature could potentially be the remains of a trackway associated with this enclosure.

Full Description
A NE-SW orientated linear bank is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Lanehouse, Weymouth (1). It is located on the western side of the partial remains of a possible late prehistoric enclosure (MDO29821). It is possible this feature could potentially be the remains of a trackway associated with this enclosure. Other linear features visible to the west of this potential trackway may also be contemporary with it (MWX4684). It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, having since been built over by modern development.
