A group of linear features are visible as ditches and banks on aerial photographs of Southlands, Wyke Regis, taken in 1947 (1). They appear to respect the modern field pattern and are considered likely to be the remains of historic field boundaries or drainage ditches. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
