A submerged linear feature is visible on aerial photographs of Wyke Regis (1-3), crossing the Fleet from Chesil Beach holiday Park to Chesil Beach. It is considered possible this could be a structure associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
