A group of buildings and structures are visible on aerial photographs of Chesil Beach taken in 1942 (1). They are located at the southern end of Ferrybridge and extend westwards onto Chesil Beach. These features are considered likely to be associated with Second World War military activity in this area. They were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
