A mid third century Roman coin was found in the spoil from the excavation of a trench for a retaining wall at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester in 1947. The coin was of Herennia Etruscilla (wife of Trajan Decius, AD249-251) and was retained by the workmen. (1)
