A 19th century or early modern groyne is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the west of Canford Cliffs Chine, Poole. The groyne is visible in two sections, which extend to the south east for a distance of 23 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
