Full Description
The remains of a possible rectilinear enclosure, approximately 78m x 75m, are visible on aerial photographs of Woodbury Hill (1-2). It is located within the remains of an Iron Age hillfort (MDO7148). It is considered most likely to be a medieval or post medieval addition associated with the later settlement (MDO29991). This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project.
