A rectilinear enclosure is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (1) and Lidar imagery (2) of Lower Hyde Heath. It is shown here on the 1st Edition OS Map (3) and is considered likely to be of post medieval date. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
