Please read our .

Summary

An archaeological evaluation in 1995 on the proposed site of a new parish room revealed two features which were interpreted as plough ruts in the north-eastern part of the site. Both features contained quantities of probable 12th or early 13th century pottery. The size and nature of these sherds is consistant with them having derived from field manuring.
