Full Description

A number of sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the backfill of a pipe trench close to the earthworks of the shrunken village of Southover. The pottery is mostly unglazed body sherds, with one sherd of glazed ware, and part of the slashed handle of a 13th century jug. (1)
