A circular mound is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Stokeford Heath taken in 1945. It is located close to the sites of two probable Bronze Age round barrows (MDO7697-98) and its similar morphology suggests it could be contemporary with them. It is not visible on recent aerial imagery, this area now being heavily overgrown with scrub.
