Summary
Overgrown barrow, damaged by badgers. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1979 recorded it as a mound 49 metres in diameter and 3.8 metres high, surrounded by a berm 2 to 3 metres wide and an outer ditch 5 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep. Flint flakes picked up from surface of barrow in 1983.

Full Description
Bell barrow about 93 feet diameter by 12 feet high, with ditch about 8 feet from the base of the mound. <1> <3>
SY 69578549 Bell barrow of overall diameter 49.0m and height 3.8m, with a berm 2.0m to 3.0m wide. The silted up outer ditch is 5.0m wide and 0.3m deep. The barrow has been extensively mutilated by badger setts, and it is overgrown by trees. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <4>
