A system of parallel bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947 to the east of Gatemore Farm, East Knighton (1-2). The features appear to be the remains of a medieval field system or post medieval water meadow. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
