Full Description
A linear series of pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the north of Blacknoll Hill. They may be a continuation of the features described in MDO30342 (the site of a Second World War bombing decoy or anti-landing obstacles). The features are no longer visible on the most recent DCC digital aerial photographs. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
