Full Description

'B'. Bowl barrow 50 yds. NE of 'A'. Diameter from 82ft to 98ft due to ploughing; height 2.5ft. <3> 'B' - SY 70408653. Diameter 32.0m, height 1.2m. Maximum. Neither barrow shows visible evidence of a ditch, and both remain under plough. Published Surveys (1:2500) revised. <4> Ploughed down barrow in ley pasture. Also visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. <7-8>
