A series of irregular ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1920's or 30's. They are considered to be part of a post medieval drainage system. Some ditches are still visible as cropmarks on recent DCC vertical digital photographs.

A series of irregular ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1920's or 30's (1-2). They are considered to be part of a post medieval drainage system. Some ditches are still visible as cropmarks on recent DCC vertical digital photographs (3). The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
