Full Description

'C' Pond barrow, possible (SY 70178688), 46 yds NE of 'B'. Regular and slightly oval depression 53ft by 57ft and 1.5ft deep. No outer bank. <1> The barrows are generally as described <1> and remain under plough. The diameters are; 'A' - 22.0m, 'B' - 16.0m, and 'C' (at SY 70158687) 20.0m. 'C' surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <2> Possible pond barrow ploughed almost flat. Visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. It is part of a wider linear barrow cemetery. <5>
