A linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of a field just to the south of Lytchett Matravers (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval field boundary. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the mosr recent comprehensive aerial photographs available to the project.
