A circular pit is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of fields to the west of Bere Farm, Lytchett Minster (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval extractive pit. Alternatively it may have an agricultural origin. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
