A group of parallel linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the northern part of Holton Heath, Wareham St Martin (1). It is considered possible these could be the remains of historic cultivation marks. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial photographs availablee to the project.
