SY 69428547 Pond barrow; Came Wood. Reported 13 12 79. <1>
SY 69398551 Pond barrow on a ridge top in Came Wood, overgrown by trees. Overall diameter 41.0m with encircling bank 8.0m wide, 0.6m high on the inside and 0.3m on the outside. Much of the interior has been mutilated by modern quarrying to a depth of 4.0m, but fortunately impinging only slightly on the inside scarp of the perimeter bank, in the southe and west quadrants. There is no visible evidence of a ditch. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <2>
