A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of a field just to the west of Sherford Farm, Morden (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War activity in this area. This features was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent aerial imagery available to the project.
