A boundary bank of possible later prehistoric date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1947 to the south of Hell Pit, Ilsington. A linear bank oriented south west-north east extends for a distance of approximately 300 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
