Two extractive pits, which may date to between the later prehistoric to medieval periods, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of 2004 to the north east of Woodsford Lower Dairy. The pits are subcircular and measure approximately 22 m and 28 m in diameter. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
