Summary

A blacksmith’s shop formed around the middle of the nineteenth century through remodelling of an earlier building. The building has walls of stone rubble with dressed stone quoins and roof of queen-strut timbers covered in tile and slate, with brick chimney stacks serving hearths at either end.
